Welcome to Denver Justice: Bomb Squad, cadet. We just lost our last explosives disassembly professional due to an on-the-job accident, so we're in need of fresh meat. Thanks for showing up.

This is the first release from House Husband Interactive for the Extra Credits Game Jam #4. We really hope you enjoy our twisted, tension-filled take on a code breaking puzzle game! Use your phone to connect to the bomb and disarm it. New players are advised to hit the tutorial first -- you've only got 60 seconds to save the city!

Our submission also meets the criteria for one of the challenges: Extra Remix! Denver Justice began as an in-office joke between friends and a fake movie poster -- but now it's an interactive game.

We used the last few minutes of the jam to add one of our nice-to-have features: A leaderboard! You can see all of the fantastic people who exploded at https://denverjustice.net/leaderboard

The word part confused me at first with how it's supposed to work but even after I figured it out I still find it difficult. Otherwise it is fun to play.

Great mechanics and voice acting! And great writing too. Timers seemed a little short and I could never diffuse the first bomb. And I had a couple times where if the word was say "WIFE" the middle column had two F's in it but only worked if i picked a specific one. But all in all this is really great and could be a full game all on its own. Nice job!! Really impressive

Definitely felt really frantic trying to diffuse it every time

Hey thanks! Yeah the word puzzle was one of the things we really wanted to refine but hey -- game jam. Either way, thanks a ton for checking us out and the kudos. Cheers

This is incredible! The atmosphere and the humour is really enjoyable. Only if I could difuse at least a single bomb. :D

Haha thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.

Wow that was intense! Amazing voice acting and that music really puts you in a stressed mood. This was really fun even though I didn't really understand one of the puzzles I just kind of guessed them :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

So glad you liked it! Thanks for checking us out and getting stressed out on our behalf haha

No worries! Guess I should've known since it was a bomb defusing game :D

Damn, the music is intense!

Thanks Rusty! Glad you liked it :D
